Cafe Ngon sits on a busy stretch of Hill Street in Cabramatta, blending the casual pace of a local coffee spot with a distinctly Vietnamese twist. This cafe appeals especially to those after a unique coffee experience – familiar faces here often come for the Vietnamese-style iced coffees and the less common egg and salt coffee variants that showcase a creamy, layered approach to the usual brew.

The vibe is open and airy, with some outdoor seating that catches the afternoon sun nicely, making it a comfortable spot for a relaxed catch-up or a quick caffeine break between errands. The crowd is a mix of locals who appreciate both traditional flavors and inventive blends like avocado or durian smoothies, as well as newcomers curious about authentic Vietnamese drinks in a casual setting.

Service tends to be efficient, and despite some reports of loud background music, the atmosphere generally leans toward lively without overwhelming conversation. Payment methods can vary, often including cash and app-based options, so visitors might want to check ahead. For those who like their coffee on the sweet and creamy side, the cafe’s take on classics like Cafe Sua Da and Cafe Sua Nong offer reliably flavorful notes.

Beyond the drinks, Cafe Ngon offers more adventurous smoothie blends featuring ingredients like black sesame and mixed fruits, which add to the sense that this is a place welcoming of exploration. Food-wise, small Vietnamese bites such as "bot chien" and "banh hoi ma heo" provide a satisfying accompaniment to the beverage selection for those stopping in during a late morning or early afternoon visit.

Overall, the cafe suits anyone interested in sampling Vietnamese coffee culture in an approachable setting—whether it’s a first-timer intrigued by egg coffee or a local hoping to enjoy a familiar taste with friends. Visiting during calmer weekday hours might offer the best chance to soak in the flavors and atmosphere without the lunchtime buzz.

If authentic Vietnamese street food tickle your fancy, this is the right place. They offer a variety of delicious & reasonably priced dishes. They also serve the current hot hits 'egg coffee' and 'salt coffee', which I've tried for the first time. At $9 a pop, I don't think the taste justifies the cost. Waiting service was OK, but I found the music was too loud and had to talk loud to hear ourselves. Parking is hard to find in this area, so allow 15-20 mins before you can get a spot. Not the restaurant's fault, but whilst we were there, there was a sour stale rubbish smell from a commercial rubbish bin nearby, making it an unpleasant experience

Pretty nice open air cafe. Tried a salted iced coffee for the first time which was excellent. Service was pretty speedy. When I visited they either accepted cash or payment through an app (not cards directly).

Great food, very friendly owner and fair price. We really enjoyed the "bot chien", "banh hoi ma heo", wish they could combine "ma heo" and "bo la lot" as "ma heo" (pork cheek) a little bit too fatty. Overall it was great to enjoy food here.

Hi whoever just post the negative review to damage my business, it’s really not fair when you post it on without evidence. Have you see that chef served the dirty drink to customer? If yes why don’t you stop them on the spot? Or is that his experiment on his drink? Please don’t do this to harm the new business like us, that’s very cruel. Thank you

Very good Vietnamese iced coffee but too steep at $9 for a large takeaway given the amount of ice in the drink and for this area. Staff were friendly but didn’t speak English well so needed to use google to translate the drink options.
